The Logic Group at Retail Business 2007
31st January 2007, Retail Business Show/ Earls Court, London: Stand H61: Secure information and transaction management specialist, The Logic Group, today announced demonstrations of its newly launched Smart Transaction Processing Service (Smart-TPS) at this year’s Retail Business Show.
Smart-TPS is a packaged solution that delivers a quick and easy route to multi-channel, integrated card processing for Chip & PIN acceptance. Designed for merchants with between 5 and 100 points-of-sale, it offers a low cost of ownership, is easy to deploy and is based on industry leading technology and services from The Logic Group, Europe’s leading payment processing specialist.
The Logic Group’s Chairman, Gareth Wokes, will also be making a keynote speech at the event. Scheduled for 10 o’clock in The VIP Rooms on the Messene Floor, Gareth will talking about the latest developments around the road to
PCI DSS compliance. Particular focus will be given to how outsourcing options for compliancy programmes supporting the new worldwide data security standard, are increasingly coming to the fore.
Also being showcased at The Retail Business Show, will be the UK’s first
‘Gift Card Centre’ from Sainsbury’s, the result of a collaboration between The Logic Group and leading pre-pay specialists, Incomm. Since November, shoppers in Sainsbury’s have been able to select from a number of leading branded gift cards from the likes of Habitat, Toni & Guy, to Comet and Alton Towers, from eye-catching gondola end display units. The new gift card offering has already proved to be a valuable new revenue earner for one of the country’s leading retailers.
