The Logic Group Presents… Solutions Showcase for the Retail World

Fleet - June 24th:- Keynote speakers include Barclaycard, MicroStrategy and Ipsos MORI (Retail Solutions, ExCel London – Stands D6 and C19)

“One of the key drivers of a successful customer loyalty programme is a clear business strategy combined with a conscious decision to thoroughly understand the customer. It is no accident that the most successful programmes have a clear sense of purpose and are actively embraced as being of central importance to a business,” reveals Robert Adams, Director of Customer Insight and Loyalty for The Logic Group.

“Increasingly Retailers are now placing customer loyalty at the forefront of their plans and are recognising it as an essential part of their business armoury. Increasingly we are seeing organisations recognise the need to bring together their understanding of the motivations of their customers with the actual behaviour of their customers and leverage this information to deliver real insight and develop customer loyalty. Customer Insight and Loyalty needs to be integrated into all marketing activity and any customer activity should take place against a backdrop of a measurement and testing culture within a business.”

Robert will share his views on “Making Loyalty Work” with visitors at Retail Solutions 2008 as part of The Logic Group’s Solutions Showcase which provides an engaging programme of practical, thought-provoking discussions by respected industry leaders. Robert will be joined by Simon Atkinson, Managing Director, Loyalty at Ipsos MORI who will present their latest thinking on the impact of customer relationships on loyalty, together with Nick Barth of MicroStrategy who will explore the opportunities for retailers to leverage data into outstanding Business Intelligence.

The Logic Group’s inaugural speaker programme at the Solutions Showcase is designed to help retailers solve critical business issues in the real world.

Visitors to Stand C19 will also have the opportunity to hear the views of James McDonald, Head of Contactless Payments at Barclaycard Business on the anticipated impact for retailers of the arrival of contactless technology in the payments arena.

The Logic Group’s own Director of Security Consulting, Robin Adams together with Andy Solterbeck, CTO of Safenet, will share insights from retailers on the road to PCI:DSS compliance whilst revealing how best to protect valuable customer data and reduce fraud across multiple payment channels.

Integrated multi-channel operations, tax-free shopping, managed services and in-depth perspectives on fraud prevention are just some of the many other speaker sessions that will debut as part of The Logic Group’s Solutions Showcase during Retail Solutions 2008.

There is also potential to create new loyalty-centric business models by leveraging the advantages of contactless payment over the anonymity of cash which could offer retailers further benefits.
