The Logic Group Teams up with Eagle Eye Solutions to deliver Mobile Vouchers to Retail Community
29th March 2007 – Secure information and transaction specialists The Logic Group has announced a partnership with mobile marketing technology provider Eagle Eye Solutions to enable retailers to issue and redeem mobile vouchers.
Vouchers can be acquired via interactive TV advertising, from a participating website or by texting a specific number displayed on adverts. Irrespective of the request mechanism, the vouchers are always delivered to consumers via their mobile phone as a text message.
The Logic Group and Eagle Eye combined solution enables retailers to accept and validate vouchers in real-time, using the retailers existing PoS systems and The Logic Group’s transaction processing application. The vouchers exist in the form of an 8 digit code which is entered by the shop assistant. The transaction is routed to Eagle Eye for validation via The Logic Group’s Managed Transaction Service.

Mobile vouchers are new to the UK and are already proving to be an exciting extension of TV advertising for ITV. By including text numbers on television adverts, ITV will be able to demonstrate precisely how much revenue and consumer awareness can be delivered through broadcast advertising and mobile vouchers.
