The Logic Group strengthens its IT Security capability with appointment of Director of Security Consulting
7th March 2007 – Fleet, Hampshire. Security and transaction specialist The Logic Group has appointed Robin Adams as Director of Security Consulting. At a time when businesses are faced with a growing number of security threats to their IT systems and applications, there has never been a greater need for the provision of expert IT security consulting for businesses of all sizes, across all sectors. The Logic Group is highly regarded within the industry, and Robin will be spearheading and growing this specialised consulting practice.
Both small and large organisations are struggling to focus on their core commercial objectives for two reasons. Firstly, the requirements for compliancy with regulatory bodies are complex, far-reaching and daunting. Secondly, businesses are facing very real and ever increasing numbers of external and internal attacks. Not surprisingly, more and more companies are now looking for assistance in safeguarding their business, strengthening their IT security and protecting their brand. The Logic Group offers practical advice and remediation assistance for PCI DSS and ISO17799 compliance. Robin Adams heads up a team of senior security consultants giving even greater weight to The Logic Group’s credentials.
Robin has 20 years’ experience delivering IT security consulting projects for blue chip and multi-national companies. Prior to The Logic Group, he worked as a Qualified Security Assessor Professional (QSAP), advising businesses on IT security best practice. Robin has an excellent reputation within the industry, having previously worked for Cybertrust (UK), Baltimore Technologies, Network Associates and Santa Cruz Operation during his career.
Speaking about his appointment, Robin commented: “I am delighted to be joining The Logic Group at this exciting time as security becomes a higher priority for organisations and a boardroom issue. Something I am particularly relishing is the opportunity to use my experience in IT security to help our customers achieve PCI DSS compliance.”
