Logic Matters 16
Welcome the sixteenth edition of Logic Matters, The Logic Group's e-newsletter for clients and partners. The festive season is now upon us and as Christmas draws near, it is business as usual at the Logic Group. The trees have gone up and are decorated beautifully in traditional style, the Christmas parties are booked and people are all adopting the festive spirit. However as this packed edition of Logic Matters shows, The Logic Group is still buzzing with activity as we look towards 2008. Ian Glanville, Vice President Consulting warns of the potential negative impacts of the highly topical 'credit crunch'. Nick Hobley, Director of Technical Operations and IT explains how the introduction of ITIL best practices has led to many improvements at The Logic Group. We also take a look at SEPA, industry moves to address on-line card fraud and the latest news on The Logic Groups' Smart Transaction Processing Service (Smart-TPS).
Finally we would like to thank all those readers who took part in our questionnaire competition, we had a phenomenal response; and announce the winners of the "Apple i-prizes"! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all!
