The Logic Group is a long established market leader in the provision of trusted payment and loyalty solutions, initially for the UK and Ireland, and now increasingly across the rest of Europe. The company was originally formed in 1986 to provide consultative advice to tier one commercial organisations. Through the 1990’s we led the introduction of integrated multichannel payment software solutions with many innovations including the support of multicurrency transactions and dynamic currency conversion.
Over 10 years ago in 1998 we introduced our first loyalty service followed some years later by our first managed payment services. We were the first to introduce an integrated Chip & PIN solution in the UK and as a result of our leadership were awarded a Queen's Award for Innovation in 2005. Continuing to lead the industry in the provision of secure payment solutions, the following year saw us introduce Europe’s first multichannel, PCI DSS compliant, managed payment service.
Building on our consulting heritage, we have continued our relentless pursuit of added value for our clients with innovation in the areas of gift cards, contactless technologies, integrated tax free shopping and both managed fraud and information services. In 2009 we continued the next phase of our European growth strategy by opening our Madrid office to support our expansion within Southern Europe.
In 2013 we achieved the world's first PCI SSC accreditation for PCI Point to Point Encryption Application, with an entire P2PE validation received later in the year.
